Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of September 23, 2024 – September 29, 2024:
This week starts on Monday with Venus leaving Libra behind and moving into Scorpio. Venus is not always comfortable in Scorpio, the sign of its detriment. This placement is often misunderstood due to preconceived notions about how Venus (the planet associated with love, romance, affection and beauty) is supposed to behave.
There are many positive aspects with this placement, but because the dark side of Scorpio is prone to trust issues, jealousy, possessiveness and control, it can manifest as less than favorable. Still there’s more passion, depth, intensity and intimacy in this archetype than any other Venus placement, so don’t give into your fears. Let your guard down, open your heart, and be willing to take a walk on the wild side.
Mercury trines Uranus on Tuesday. As Uranus is said to be the higher octave of Mercury, bringing them together in a harmonious (trine) aspect allows for a much more natural route to higher consciousness. This is the build a better mousetrap aspect, especially with these two planets in Earth signs (Virgo and Taurus respectively).
The Mercury / Uranus trine is great for brainstorming and thinking outside the box. It’s great for improving efficiency and increasing productivity. It can open doors for you that you never expected to open. And it can increase opportunities for you to expand your consciousness and broaden your mind.
On Wednesday, Mercury opposes Neptune. This transit can see you being more susceptible to misunderstandings and confusion about who you can and cannot trust. It can see you being prone to self-doubt and self-deception. It’s not the best time to make plans, sign contracts or commit to a schedule as these things are likely to change.
Where does this opposition fall in your natal chart? Depending on the houses involved, you’ll want to work on integrating these opposing energies (ideas vs. fantasies, facts vs. delusions, etc.) into your psyche.
Fortunately, things should start becoming clearer for you on Thursday, when Mercury trines Pluto. This aspect is good for digging in deep and ferreting out information that may solve some of your more perplexing emotional responses. It’s good for doing research and looking for hidden clues. It’s also good for deep, soulful meaningful conversations that get to the heart of the matter.
Also on Thursday, Mercury leaves Virgo behind and moves into Libra. Mercury in Libra is objective, impartial and fair. It’s good at exercising tact and diplomacy, but not so good at making decisions. You may feel the need to weigh the pros and cons of every situation before you reach a conclusion, and even then you’re likely to settle on a middle ground.
Mercury in Libra — especially at 0 degrees — is known to struggle with indecision. It tends to vacillate or straddle the fence rather than take a stand. It’s good for debating and arbitrating, as it’s able to see the validity in any side of an argument. But it can also be frustratingly wishy-washy.
Saturday’s Venus inconjunct North Node aspect automatically makes a corresponding semisextile to the South Node. This aspect can see you feeling at odds between what you value (Venus) and what you see as your life’s purpose (the North Node). The key with any inconjunct aspect is to find a way to make adjustments to satisfy both areas. In this case it calls for you align your ideals with what you see as your calling.
This may be easier said than done, as the Moon in Leo is also squaring Venus during this time. This can reinforce the sense of being pulled in two different directions, and can have you feeling some resentment over having to choose. But with so many Venus transits this week — and most of them somewhat stressful — you won’t be able to avoid these kinds of decisions, so you might as well make the best of it.
Mercury and the Sun both conjunct the South Node (and oppose the North Node) on Sunday. As these two bodies are gearing up to form a conjunction of their own (on Monday), that aspect is well within orb to view it as combined. The Sun / South Node portion of this aspect suggests that people you encounter during this time will challenge you to grow karmically, either because of past life ties or because they are facilitators this time around for whatever karmic lessons you’re facing.
The Mercury / South Node conjunction can manifest as a chance encounter that turns out to be anything but in the end. Whether it’s a past-life connection or just someone you meet unexpectedly that turns into a significant connection, you want to pay attention. You want to be be mindful of what you say and how you say it. Mercury represents communications and the Nodes are said to be karmic in nature. So pay attention to what you put out there as it could have long term repercussions.
