Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Nov 30, 2020 – Dec 6, 2020:
This week starts on Monday with Mercury sexiling Saturn and a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 8° Gemini 38. The Mercury / Saturn aspect — especially in heavy-handed Scorpio and Capricorn — is practical and realistic, but it can also be a bit pessimistic.
This transit can make it a little easier to “get a grip” and see things from a rational perspective. It puts whatever doubts and delusions you have under a microscope and permits you to see things as they are rather than jumping to conclusions. It forces you to rely on facts rather than conjecture and can get you thinking logically rather than irrationally.
The Full Moon — which is also Lunar Eclipse, takes place at 9:29am (UT) or 4:29am (EST). This is known as the Full Frost or Full Beaver Moon in Native American traditions.
This is a penumbral eclipse, which means that there will only be a slight shading of the Moon — which can take on a tan or pinkish hue — rather than the complete blackout we are used to seeing with a total lunar eclipse.
The Full Moon is about restoring the equilibrium in your life and finding balance between head and heart. Nowhere is the Hermetic axiom of “As above, so below; as within, so without” more relevant than it is with this lunar phase. It speaks of your inner being world reflected outwardly and vice versa.
The Full Moon is all about gaining perspective and addressing your own role in whatever your life circumstances might be. There’s no room for blaming or rationalizing anything here. It’s important to take ownership of what’s not right in your world, as well as what is.
Because it’s an eclipse, it can act as a powerful conduit for change. Eclipses bring a greater awareness to whatever is no longer working for you so that you can release or transform it. It brings to light that which has been suppressed or hidden — even from yourself — along with the incentive to make changes.
And because it’s in Gemini (and closely conjunct the royal fixed star Aldebaran)— the focus with this particular eclipse should be on investigating, uncovering and exposing facts, in order to arrive at the “truth” no matter how uncomfortable that may be. This is made all the more important by the fact that the Moon is currently the only planet in an Air sign, and only for another day.
Mercury leaves Scorpio behind and moves into Sagittarius on Tuesday. Mercury is debilitated in Sagittarius, the sign of its fall. But don’t let anyone tell you it’s not “happy” in this sign: aside for a penchant to exaggerate and insert its foot firmly in mouth, this placement is known to be just about as upbeat and optimistic as you can get.
It’s known for being positive and expansive. It’s a great storyteller — even when it feels the need to embellish a bit to make things more interesting — and is as interested in learning as it is teaching or disseminating information to others. This transit can see you getting a lot done, and have a lot of fun doing it.
On Wednesday, we’re back to an absence of Air sign energy, and this will continue (aside from 2+ day intermittent periods with the Moon) for the next few weeks, until Saturn and Jupiter move into Aquarius. But that’s not to say this won’t be a good Moon. The Moon is at home in Cancer (the sign it rules) and is favorably aspected to both Uranus and Venus on this day.
On Thursday, there’s a Moon / Neptune trine (with both of these planet in the signs they naturally rule) that pulls in Venus (in Scorpio) to form a rather loose Grand Water Trine. This configuration is excellent for tapping into your psychic abilities and can also be instrumental in creating soul connections with romantic interests. There are unconditional love aspects associated with Venus / Neptune ties, which are made all the more powerful when accompanied by the Moon.
The Moon in Cancer brings the focus back to home, family, heritage and security issues. But later in the day it squares Mars and opposes Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn. This is where things can get testy. These aspects can force you to deal with unpleasant emotions such as anger, jealousy, resentment and fear.
You want to guard against reading between the lines and taking things too personally, becoming defensive, creating problems where there are none, or otherwise becoming needy, clingy or smothering. Alternately you might encounter others who want to play the victim or point the finger of blame. Fortunately lunar transits are fleeing and this one may just pass by with hardly any notice.
Mercury trines Chiron on Saturday. This is a harmonious aspect that brings elements like compassion, humility and tolerance to the table, making for some very pleasant social interactions. As both of Mercury and Chiron are now in Fire signs, the desire to do something about the injustices you see can be emphasized during this time.
This transit allows you to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and really understand how they feel. It’s a sensitive and compassionate aspect that is able to tune into other people’s needs and also has healing properties.
The Venus / Neptune trine that’s been moving into place all week becomes exact on Sunday. This is a very pleasant aspect, as Neptune is the higher octave of Venus and these two planets trining one another emphasizes their respective influences. The trine aspect relates to peace and harmony. The Venus / Neptune combination is often present in relationships that are based on spiritual, creative or altruistic notions.
This transit is excellent for tapping into your psychic abilities and can also be instrumental in creating soul connections with romantic interests. There are unconditional love aspects to Venus / Neptune aspects but be careful: they’re also associated with escapism and self-deception, such as relationships where neither party sees the other one clearly.
That’s it for this week! see you next week.
