Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Jun 24, 2019 – Jun 30, 2019:
We start the week on Monday, with Venus squaring Neptune and inconjuncting Saturn. The Venus / Neptune square can translate as unrealistic expectations and wishful thinking — especially regarding romantic interests. You may have to check yourself if you find yourself spending too much time daydreaming or wondering “what if?” This transit is prone to flights of fantasy and can be downright delusional. It’s not the time to put your stock in people who haven’t proven themselves or who have engaged in dubious practices in the past.
The inconjunct to Saturn can see you questioning your own contributions in your relationships, as well those of your partner. It can have you feel uncertain or insecure about your own value, and see you feeling shy about expressing your innermost feelings. You feel like you’re being put on the spot or that you are being challenged by those who think they know better. But the Moon joins in and conjuncts that Neptune, which may just be your saving grace.
The Moon moves into third quarter phase on Tuesday, at 3º Aries 34. The 3rd quarter moon is linked to career, reputation and outward appearances, among other things. It is said to bring about a “crisis in consciousness,” as the square between Sun and Moon exposes conflicts between our inner and outer selves, as well as our private vs. public personas.
With it moving through Aries — the sign associated with impulse, energy and self-actualization — it can manifest as a desire to buck the system or to challenge other people’s values. The Moon in Aries is in mutual reception with Mars, which is moving through the final degrees of Cancer. This might ordinarily soften some of the impatience and impulsivity associated with these archetypes. but with the Moon also forming squares to Saturn, Pluto, Mercury and Mars, that is highly unlikely.
On Wednesday, Mercury moves to the last (29th) degree of Cancer, as it prepares to enter Leo. The 29th degree is known as an anaretic degree and is said to be karmic in nature. It represents the culmination of past-life experiences through the progression of each sign, and can manifest as a sense of urgency to tie up loose ends and close the door on the past.
It leaves Cancer behind and moves into Leo just after midnight on Thursday. Mercury in Leo is dignified, regal and proud. It’s focused on honesty, dignity and integrity, and commands (demands) respect. This signature has a flair for drama and a tendency to express itself through grandiose or extravagant gestures.
Also on Thursday, Venus inconjuncts Pluto, while the Sun squares Chiron and sextiles Uranus. The Venus / Pluto aspect is significant in that it involves a planetary pair (as rulers of opposing signs) that are fundamentally tied to relationships. It forces us to re-evaluate our relationship with deep-seated fears and desires and find a way to reconcile them with our personal realities.
The Sun / Chiron square can create a need to remedy an imbalance between the desire for self-actualization (the Sun) and the urge for self-sacrifice (Chiron). At the same time, with the Sun sextiling Uranus is all about focusing on others and working toward the greater good. Heading up a volunteer program or taking part in something meaningful in community are good ways to actualize this transit.
By Friday, the Moon has moved into Taurus, the sign of its exaltation. The Moon in Taurus is earthy, sensuous and solid. It’s calm and practical, and can be slow-moving or overly cautious. It prefers to savor meaningful experiences, much like someone would savor a meal or a bottle of fine wine.
It conjuncts Uranus in the early morning hours and forms harmonious aspects to Neptune, Saturn and the Nodes before the day is through. These aspects are relatively benign and will remain so throughout the weekend. But that doesn’t mean this period of time will be uneventful. There are still always transits in play: planets interacting with one another and blending or communicating their unique energies.
We have Mars at its exact degree of debilitation (28º Cancer) on Saturday, with it moving toward the final (anaretic) degree on Sunday. These are tense and potentially volatile transits, which can bring out some of our more unsavory emotions. At its lower vibration it can be expressed as irrationality, manipulation, resentment, passive aggression, etc.be mindful of the potential for over-reacting and making mountains out of molehills during this time.
As we tie up the weekend we have much to look forward to, with two planets (Venus and Mars) changing signs next week, as well as a New Moon in Cancer, and a total Solar Eclipse.
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
