Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of April 7, 2025 – April 13, 2025
This week starts with Mercury going stationary direct on Monday, after spending the last three weeks in retrograde motion. While Mercury retrograde is known for wreaking havoc with all things related to communications, its going direct doesn’t necessarily bring instant clarity. It just doesn’t work that way. As it goes stationary, it briefly stands still (from our geocentric perspective) as does the current Mercury state.
It will still be several days before Mercury crosses its shadow point (on the 25th) and fully leaves the retrograde behind. But in general, over the next several days, we can expect all things Mercury — communications (verbal and written), schedules, plans, commitments, as well as short-distance travel and electronics devices, etc. — to start getting back to normal.
Venus also conjuncts Saturn on Monday. This is a recurrence of an earlier conjunction between these planets, before Venus went retrograde. This aspect could see you taking a more serious look at your love life, for better or worse. That includes the role you play in your relationships as well as where you stand with getting your needs met.
Saturn and Venus can have you looking at the glass as half full and wondering when it’s going to be your turn. The upside of this transit is that it provides incredible clarity and gets you seeing things for what they really are. But the downside is a tendency to be too focused on what’s lacking in your relationships and not enough on ways to improve.
Venus next sextiles Uranus (on Tuesday) while Mars trines the North Node. These aspects work well together, with the Venus / Uranus sextile wanting to break up any crystallization that has been forming in your life and to dismantle any roadblocks that are standing in your way. Venus / Uranus transits are good for clearing a path for you to achieve a more open and progressive expression of who you want to be.
The Mars / North Node trine automatically sextiles the South Node, as the Moon’s Nodes are always polar opposites. This aspect is great for working with others on shared goals and ideals. It speaks of cooperation and collaboration, putting partnership or group needs ahead of individual ones.
By Wednesday, the four-point stellium in Pisces — Saturn, Venus the North Node, and Mercury — is all contained within just over one degree, between 25 and 26 degrees of Pisces. The Moon (in Virgo) will move forward to oppose these points, but not until Thursday, and not before it squares Jupiter and inconjuncts the Sun.
The square to Jupiter brings an expansive, indulgent quality to the mix, which could make you feel more optimistic and effusive. Keep in mind though, it’s still a Virgo Moon… It’s still apt to express a more subdued and more reserved energy, especially with the inconjunct to the Sun.
The opposition to all those Pisces planets, which is most pronounced late in the evening on Thursday and throughout most of the day on Friday, can reveal a desire to seek out ways to get your needs met. But we’re not talking about physical or material needs here. This is more about recognizing what’s missing, especially with regard to your innermost needs. Things like comfort, validation, affection, and emotional support.
The opposition can make you feel like you’re on the outside looking in. You didn’t feel like you’re getting some clarity over the deficits in your life, particularly with respect to emotional security. During this time, it may be easier for you to focus on what you lack rather than what you have.
This thing continues on Saturday, when the Sun moves up to conjunct Chiron. This Transit again focuses on areas in your own life that may be lacking while you strive to help others. It’s more about recognizing your ability to guide and assist others through your own life experiences.
It can signify a greater ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and feel what they feel (or draw on your own memories of times when you felt victimized or marginalized in some way). Because of this, you may be more compassionate toward other people’s weaknesses and help them overcome them — even as you struggle to overcome your own.
The Sun / Chiron conjunction also features prominently in Sunday’s Full Moon, which occurs at 12:21 am UT at 23° Libra 19.
The April Full Moon is known as the Full Pink Moon (named so for the beautiful blankets of fragrant pink flowers [phlox] that bloom at this time of year).
The April Full Moon emphasizes the Aries / Libra polarity’s natural association with relationships of all types, with Aries representing “the Self” and Libra representing “the Other.” The theme here is figuring out where certain people fit in your life without focusing so much on one type of relationship so that you invalidate the other.
In general, the Full Moon provides an overview of the progress you’ve made since its New Moon counterpoint on March 29th. Seeds that were planted then will surely have sprouted; do you need to make adjustments or change your course entirely? Now is the time to think about what you’ve accomplished and where you want to go from here.
As Full Moons are said to shine a spotlight on areas in your chart that are affected (by house position and contacts to other planets), you might look to your own natal chart to see where this will play out for you. Since it’s in Libra, it’s about fairness, objectivity, and impartiality. It’s good for social interactions that call for cooperation and collaboration, as it strives for balance and harmony at all times.
Also on Sunday, Venus goes stationary direct, after having spent the last 6 weeks in retrograde motion. With Venus moving forward again, you might start to notice a shift in energy related to all things Venusian — especially love and romance. Relationships that started during this period — as well as romantic attractions that were sparked — will be seen in a whole new light.
As Venus moves forward, you may be asking yourself whether your relationships will do the same. During the retrograde cycle, you may have been tying up loose ends in a relationship that was on its last legs, or you may have been compelled to reach out and reconnect with a lover from your past. But now you’re moving your energy away from the past and back toward the present and future. You’ll be thinking about which direction you want to take your relationships from this point forward as well.
Where does Venus fall in your natal chart and what houses does it rule? (You may need to speak with an astrologer if you’re unsure about that). Venus rules two signs — Taurus and Libra — and its change in direction will activate the houses with these signs on the cusp. This will add another dimension to the impact of this transit and how it will affect you personally.
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
