Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of April 28, 2025 – May 4, 2025:
As we start this week, on Monday, the Moon is still New in Taurus, the sign of her exaltation. This archetype speaks of getting in touch with nature and the earth, and with taking care of “business.” This is a good time for thinking about making, saving and investing money. It’s also a good time for taking care of your physical body and for indulging all five senses.
Mars and Pluto are still in a tight opposition, a condition that’s amplified by this aspect’s close proximity to Vulcanus, which is currently conjunct Mars at 4° Leo and in indirect opposition to Pluto at 3° Aquarius. Vulcanus is associated with power and influence, which, combined with the Mars / Pluto opposition, can be downright explosive. This configuration feels like a bit of a take-no-prisoners transit, which can give rise to encounters with those who are ruthless or uncaring.
Venus is at 29° Pisces on Tuesday. The 29th degree of any sign is a critical degree, called an anaretic degree, and is especially pronounced in Pisces, at the last degree of the zodiac. It’s said to be fated. It represents the tying up of loose ends and can manifest as a sense of urgency or a feeling of destiny.
This transit can see you feeling inspired to make your dreams a reality or it can see you escaping into a world of fantasy and delusion. It’s a highly receptive aspect that may see you lacking in boundaries but full of creative potential and Utopian ideals. It can threaten to deplete your energy levels and may see you spending the day dreaming about your long-term goals rather than making any headway toward accomplishing them. But it’s good for fantasizing about the future and envisioning the changes you’d need to make in order to make your dreams a reality.
Venus then leaves Pisces behind and moves into Aries (on Wednesday), at another critical degree — this time the first degree of the zodiac: 0° Aries. While there are said to be some disadvantages to having a planet in detriment — usually due to societal norms and expectations rather than any deficit in the archetype itself — there are some wonderful benefits as well.
Venus in Aries is able to put its heart on the line and go “all in” when it comes to love. It’s ardent and passionate about matters of the heart and sees itself as a bit of a maverick. This is a great time to put yourself out there, without fear. It’s a time for taking risks in love and for opening yourself up to new opportunities.
The Moon is in Gemini on Thursday, sextiling Chiron, squaring Saturn and semi-sextiling Uranus. The Moon in Gemini shifts the focus from comfort and relaxation (Taurus Moon) to interaction, social engagement and the exchange of ideas. While it may keep you up — thinking, reflecting, brainstorming, etc. — it’s great for organizing your thoughts and ideas and putting together a new course of action.
As Gemini is a dual or mutable sign, this Moon is good at being flexible and adaptable. It’s known for its ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. It can be restless and impulsive, but it can also be bursting at the seams with new and exciting ideas. The aspects that this Gemini Moon forms with other planets can mitigate or amplify those traits.
Venus moves ahead and conjuncts Neptune on Friday with both of them at 1° Aries. This is new territory for these two planets, both of which were more comfortable in the preceding sign, Pisces. As Venus is exalted in Pisces, and Neptune is the modern ruler of Pisces, they’re said to feel most at home in that sign.
Neptune only recently moved into Aries, for the first time in 150 years! But as Venus goes around the Sun about once every 225 days, it generally spends some time there every year. You might say it’s a little more comfortable in Aries than Neptune is, even though Aries is the sign of Venus’ detriment.
In general, the Venus / Neptune conjunction is loving, compassionate, creative and highly impressionable — even in fiery, dynamic Aries. It can increase psychic awareness and make you more susceptible to outside influences. It can increase your desire to connect with a partner romantically, and when you add in the Aries influence, it can make for a more passionate or spirited pursuit.
The Moon moves into Leo around midday on Saturday, where it will join Mars and oppose Pluto. This is generally a very dynamic lunar placement, as Leo is the sign associated with warmth, generosity, vitality and personal charisma, the emphasis is on reveling in the moment, embracing life to the fullest, and setting your worries aside long enough to bask in the light of the day.
But the conjunction to Mars and opposition to Pluto can indicate conflicts and power struggles, among other things. Especially since that same Leo Moon can be self-important and forceful when challenged. If you’re sensing tension from others during this time, your best bet is to disengage, at least until later in the day when the Moon forms much more pleasant aspects to Mercury and Venus.
Pluto goes stationary retrograde on Sunday. Pluto is retrograde for around 6 months out of every year, and is reminiscent of its mythological counterpart in which Persephone goes down into the Underworld. Pluto will remain retrograde until October 15th, when it starts its 6 month period of direct motion followed by 6 months in retrograde motion all over again.
This is a time for turning inward and developing your own internal power, rather than unleashing it on the outer world. It’s a time for concentrating your efforts toward getting in touch with your shadow side and mastering your own darker energies. It’s a time for regeneration and transformation that lasts for several months, until the cycle repeats itself.
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
