Here is the Psychic Scoop Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of April 21, 2025 – April 27, 2025:
This week starts with a pretty intense t-square involving the Sun, Moon and Mars on Monday. The Sun / Moon portion of this configuration — a 90° aspect or “square” — is always present with a first quarter Moon, which is tied to home, family, and personal security, among other things.
The Moon in the sign associated with friends and associates — Aquarius — will generally indicate a great time for connecting and interacting with others. But this one is complicated by its role in that t-square involving the Sun and Mars. With the Sun squaring and the Moon opposing Mars, this configuration pits those energies against one another, with the outcome more likely to manifest as conflict or confrontation.
Mars is action, energy, and drive — all commendable traits. But when you pit it against the Sun (ego, will, personal expression) and the Moon (feelings, emotions, and sensitivities) it can bring out the less savory Martian impulses, like anger, aggression and impatience.
The Moon in Aquarius, which trines Jupiter on Tuesday, emphasizes humanitarian goals and ideals. It’s associated with freedom, independence, and autonomy, recognizing that there is a place in the world for all of us and that we each have something unique to contribute. It also emphasizes progress, liberation and individuality.
Add to that the trine to Jupiter, and the emphasis is placed on freedom and autonomy, while still emphasizing shared ideals. The Moon / Jupiter trine can be quite lucky. But as it’s also geared toward an urge for activism, so you could see yourself expressing more radical viewpoints and standing up for what you truly believe in.
By Wednesday, the Sun will have advanced a few degrees to square Pluto. At this point, the t-square that started out the week involving the Sun, Moon, and Mars has now developed into a t-square involving the Sun, Mars, and Pluto. The Mars / Pluto portion of this t-square isn’t exact (and won’t be until Sunday), but this one has an even greater potential for wreaking havoc.
This is a really intense transit that can manifest as harsh words or even outright warfare. Egos are on the line here and you may find yourself embroiled in a battle that you have no idea how it started. Physical exercise is one of the best ways to release this kind of tension, so think about making love not war during this time.
On Thursday, the Moon in Pisces joins Venus, Saturn, and the North Node. While these Pisces planets can offer a bit of a respite from all that intense Sun / Mars / Pluto energy, that configuration is still really powerful and should not be ignored. Still, all that Pisces energy can indicate a need to turn inward and get in touch with your intuition.
This is a mystical, ethereal, and otherworldly stellium, and with the Moon present as well, it would be an ideal time for journaling, meditation, and reflecting on your innermost dreams and desires.
The Moon / Venus / Saturn portion of this lineup is exact on Friday. This three-planet conjunction is called a stellium and just so happens to take place at Venus’s exact degree of exaltation (27° Pisces). This aspect can see you taking a more serious look at your love life. That includes the role you play in your relationships as well as where you stand with respect to getting your needs met. Saturn and Venus can have you looking at the glass as half full and wondering when it’s going to be your turn.</p>
The upside of this transit is that it provides incredible clarity and gets you seeing things for what they really are. But the downside is a tendency to view things as not good enough or being too focused on what is missing.
By Saturday, with the Moon having crossed over the North Node and moved into that conjunction with Venus and Saturn, all planets — aside from Pluto — will be placed inside the North Node / South Node axis, otherwise known as the Draconic Bowl. This is said to be a Karma configuration, delineating the soul’s journey or path (in a natal chart).
With respect to its placement by transit, you might look to where the transiting Uranus — which is at present the midpoint of this draconic bowl configuration — falls. This would be your starting point, and where you might feel strongly pulled in two different directions — for the South Node (or your past) and your North Node (or your future) in the coming days.
As stated above, Pluto is still outside the Draconic Bowl, and it’s opposing Mars: exact on Sunday. This is arguably one of the most challenging aspects as it pits the god of War (Mars) against the lord of the Underworld (Pluto). These planets can work very well together when they’re involved in a harmonious aspect, such as a trying or sextile. But the opposition can be contentious and combative, so be mindful of the energy you and those you’re associating with are putting out on this date.
Also on Sunday, there’s a New Moon at 7° Taurus 46. This takes place at 7:30 p.m. (UT), or 3:30 p.m. Eastern time.
The Moon is exalted in Taurus, meaning that it’s a revered placement. An exalted planet or luminary is said to express its clearest and purest essence in that sign, in this case the calmest, gentlest and most sensuous sign of all: Taurus.
As New Moons always represent new beginnings and opportunities to start anew, this one — in Taurus — emphasizes opportunities for relaxing, meditating and getting grounded. These are all Taurus Moon activities, with the idea of comfort, luxury, and getting in touch with nature and the earth being the corresponding theme.
The Taurus Moon is sensuous and indulgent, so if you feel like getting something done, it’s good for more than just lounging around the house. It’s good for putting your culinary skills to use, remodeling your home, gardening or landscaping, or anything that amounts to creating beauty in your environment.
That’s it for this week. See you next week!
