Weekly Astro Forecast — Sept 20 – Sept 26, 2015

Weekly Astrology Forecast

Here is the Psychic Scoop Astrology Forecast for the week of Sept 20 – Sept 26, 2015:

This week starts out with relatively few aspects until Tuesday. This doesn’t mean nothing is happening — far from it!  Saturn has just entered Sagittarius (last Friday) and is still at 0°, making for a sense of newness and freshness related to all things Saturn in Sagittarius. A renewed desire for personal growth and expansion for example, or a renewed interest in foreign cultures, travel, education, religion and politics.

The Moon, Venus and Uranus are involved in a grand fire trine for a good part of Sunday as well. Grand trines are seen as harmonious and fortuitous, especially for those born with them. But for a few hours (since the Moon is involved and the Moon moves through the degrees rather quickly), this one can mark a period of optimism, enthusiasm and benevolence.

On Tuesday, Venus inconjuncts Chiron and forms the apex of a Yod aspect to Chiron and the Moon. This aspect can bring with it a need to reevaluate your personal value systems. It can manifest as an urge to be self-sacrificing, which can translate as either an angel of mercy or a glutton for punishment.

You may find yourself wanting to “give until it hurts” which can turn you into a martyr for an unworthy cause. But you can’t ignore the positive aspects of this Yod configuration (also known as the “finger of God.”) It’s extraordinarily loving and giving, and can see you recognizing only the good in others and responding in kind.

The Sun enters Libra and sextiles Saturn on Wednesday. The Sun in Libra shifts our collective consciousness into thoughts of fairness and impartiality. It’s objective and diplomatic; able to see all sides of any argument — which is why it’s also often known as wishy-washy or indecisive. The Sun in Libra is also in mutual reception with Venus, as these two bodies occupy one another’s ruling signs (until Venus enters Virgo, October 9th). The sextile to Saturn emphasizes the rational side of this configuration and lessens the indecisiveness just enough to get things done.

Speaking of Venus, it completes its trine to Uranus also on Wednesday. These two planets in harmonious aspect bring an ease of expression and cooperation to the forefront, particularly in social settings. With Venus in Leo and Uranus in Aries, the emphasis is on originality and individuality. This is a progressive, forward-thinking, trend-setting aspect that encourages creative self-expression.

On Thursday, Mercury squares Pluto and the Sun conjuncts the North Node. The Mercury / Pluto aspect is good for doing research, setting off intuitive warning signs, scrutinizing the tiniest inconsistencies in your personal radar, etc. But not necessarily good for “getting it right.” It can increase suspicion and paranoia and have you seeing things that just aren’t there. It’s not the time to back someone into a corner with suspicions or accusations, especially since Mercury is retrograde, meaning that your Spidey Senses very well could be off.

The Sun conjunct the North Node can bring someone new your life who turns out to play a meaningful role. Particularly in terms of self-actualization or individuation. As the Nodes are said to be karmic in nature, this person may not be “new” at all, but have strong past life ties. The Sun/ North Node contact can also describe a change in direction as far as your social relationships are concerned. Aligning yourself with a different group of people or inviting new friends into your circle for example.

Mars enters Virgo and Pluto turns direct on  Friday. Mars in Virgo likes to focus on making things better. The focus is on self-improvement (and improvement in general) which means that any flaws or imperfections get noticed right away. It can be critical and nitpicky, but is an excellent placement for those invested in getting the job down. This transit can see you ready to put your nose to the grindstone and make great strides toward completing half-finished projects. It’s also great for taking on highly detailed work and building a better mouse-trap.

Pluto is retrograde for almost half of the year (every year). In this case it’s been retrograde since April 16th. It will go retrograde again on April 18, 2016. As Pluto turns direct again you may see suppressed urges and desires returning to the surface (much like the Roman God for which it is named emerges from the underworld in ancient mythology).

Pluto turning direct forces you to look at those urges in the harsh light of day and decide whether you’re ready to deal with them or push them back below the surface. Obviously the former is preferable as it can mean the difference between life happening to you (and having no control) or taking charge of your destiny and having some say in how it all plays out.

On Saturday Mars squares Saturn. This aspect is often likened to having the pedal to the metal and driving full speed ahead (Mars) and plowing into a brick wall (Saturn). It can be tremendously frustrating as you’re raring to go and the Universe is putting roadblocks in your path. Especially around mid-day when the Moon joins in and turns this aspect into a t-square (with Saturn at the apex).

No matter what you try to accomplish during this time, know that Saturn has the upper hand and that you will be met with challenges. It’s not the time to engage in any confrontational (or legally questionable) behaviors as you’re unlikely to come out unscathed. Try to respect the wisdom of Saturn and accept that whatever limitations are in place are there for a reason, which will likely reveal itself to you in time.

That’s it for this week, see you next Sunday!
