Tarot Card of the Week: Dec 14 – Dec 20, 2015
Page of Swords
One of my favorite decks is the Gilded Tarot by Ciro Marchetti. The deck is included in a Tarot Kit for Beginners.
It includes a book by Josephine Ellershaw and has some of the most colorful and easy to understand illustrations of any deck I’ve seen.
This week I pulled the Page of Swords. A beautiful young man, holds his sword, and prepares to battle against turbulent forces that surround him. The sky in the back ground show golden clouds, that oddly fill the land with a strange overcast. Nevertheless the Page of Swords is ready for any challenges coming his way.
The Page of Swords represents enthusiasm. It’s like when you think of a wonderful idea and can’t wait to finish the project and see how your vision ends up looking! He is a card of bountiful energy and passion.
Depending on other cards surrounding it, he could be a new love coming into your life, someone who would bring out the mischievous child in you.
You can look forward this week to feeling optimistic about the future. You feel like you can do almost anything.
When we see the Page of swords it is a sign that you are coming to understand what Is important in your life. It is important that you align with other people who are positive and supportive. So you may have to choose this week to avoid those who will overwhelm you with their drama.
When it comes to relationships, choose one that feels natural, with someone who will learn and grow along with you and give you a chance to develop your own personality and expression.
The Page of Swords represents a person who has an intelligent and sensitive nature, and may suffer a lot if there is no outlet for ideas and feelings.
When you see this card be prepared to be all about communication, information and ideas this week. This card is a total indication that you need to share some of your ideas and theories. You may be surprised at the amount of people who support your ideas and what you have to say.
Prepare to surprise yourself with your verbal banter and way with words. Because this card also represents someone who can communicate through writing, social media, or simply conversation with someone face-to-face.
On the down side you really have to beware, because this Page loves to talk and you don’t want to get involved in drama or gossip. So just watch what you say or simply think before you speak. But let’s face it, overall, the good news is you have a talent this week to benefit others with positive energy and words. So keep on that track.
The Page of Swords can also mean you are dealing with a child or adult with a child’s maturity level. This relationship involves honesty and a search for information and new ideas or matters of mind and intellect.
You may have moments with this person where you feel frustrated or infuriated because he/she cannot see sense when it comes to “grown up” decisions.
If you need to, give yourself a break from this person and then go back with a fresh perspective or “new eyes” to see if this relationship is of benefit to either of you. You may discover that they do have a lot to share with you, and despite their inexperience, they may actually teach you something about yourself.
